Delete your account
You can delete your adsVase account yourself, from the mobile app or from the website. It takes a few minutes and you do not need to contact us first.
Deleting is permanent. There is no undo once the final confirmation goes through, so if you only want a break, signing out is the gentler option.
From the adsVase app
On Android and iOS:
- Open Settings from the menu.
- Tap Privacy & Security, then Delete Account.
- Read what the deletion removes and tick the acknowledgement.
- Confirm it is you with your password, or with a code sent to your email if you use two-factor sign-in.
- Tap Delete My Account.
From the website
- Sign in at adsvase.com.
- Open Settings, then the Account tab.
- Under Delete account, choose Delete.
- Work through the same acknowledgement and identity check.
- Choose Delete My Account.
If you cannot sign in
A lost password, a dead phone, an email address you no longer control — none of these should trap you in an account you want gone. Email support@adsvase.com from any address and tell us:
- The username on the account, or the email address it was opened with.
- That you are asking for the account to be deleted.
We will verify that the account is yours before we touch it, which may mean asking you something only the account holder would know. Expect a first reply within 24–48 hours. We will not ask you for your password, and you should never send it to us.
What deletion removes
Once the request completes, the following is removed and cannot be recovered:
- Your profile, username and bio.
- Every post, ad, article, reel and vase you created.
- Your followers and the accounts you follow.
- Your messages and conversations.
- Your saved items, lists and stash.
What we keep, and why
A short, closed list survives deletion. Each item is here because the law requires it or because removing it would harm someone else:
- Transaction and billing records: Kept where tax and accounting law requires it, for the period that law sets. These are held apart from your profile and are not used to build a picture of you.
- Moderation and safety records: If your account was reported or actioned, we keep a minimal record so the same harm cannot simply be repeated under a new account.
- Encrypted backups: Deletion runs against the live systems immediately. Routine backups age out on their own schedule, and your data goes with them when they expire.
- Other people's copies: A message you sent sits in the other person’s inbox too, and that copy is theirs. We cannot reach into another account and remove it.
How long it takes
Your account stops working the moment you confirm — you are signed out, your profile stops resolving, and nobody can find you in search. The removal of the underlying data follows and finishes within 30 days. Backups holding copies expire on their own cycle, within 90 days.
Before the final step
The flow can be abandoned at any point before the last confirmation and nothing will have changed. After that confirmation, we cannot bring the account back — not the username, not the posts, not the followers. Starting again means starting from nothing.
